The Macedonian National Meeting on Ratification of the FCTC was held in Skopje on December 6, 2005.

The FCTC was ratified on June 30, 2006.

National Meeting on Capacity Building in Tobacco Control

The National Conference on Strengthening of Inter-Sectoral Cooperation in Service of Tobacco Control in Republic of Macedonia was held in Skopje, December 7 – 8, 2006, in the scope of implementation of the second component of the SEE Regional Project “Public Health Capacity Building for Strengthening Tobacco Control in South-East EuropeThe Conference covered the following aspects: a public health, legal – economic, international and scientific. High level of presentations, discussions and conclusions were maintained in all the segments.
